Olga A. Ladyzhenskaya

Academician Olga Aleksandrovna Ladyzhenskaya
passed away on January 12, 2004 at the age of 81.
Olga Ladyzhenskaya was a member of the St.Petersburg Mathematical Society
since 1959 when the Society was recreated. She was its vice-president for many
years and its president between 1990 and 1998, an
Honorary Member of the Society.
